Coug Pride

As Vice President and Event Coordinator for Coug Pride, WSU Vancouver’s Queer Registered Student organization – or club, I’ve worked to foster a safe, inclusive, and affirming space on campus for queer students and allies. In this role, I’ve led the planning and execution of community-centered events that celebrate identity, build connection, and promote visibility. When our officer numbers dropped, I stepped up to support our marketing efforts—creating flyers, managing social media, and helping maintain a consistent presence—until we rebuilt a strong, full leadership team. This experience reinforced the importance of adaptability, collaboration, and the ongoing work it takes to create spaces where all students feel seen, supported, and empowered.

Survivor's United

As a member of the marketing team for WSU Vancouver’s Survivors United, I help amplify the organization’s mission to support survivors of sexual assault and domestic violence by promoting supportive services, community events, and educational opportunities. My role involves marketing these efforts in a way that feels approachable and non-intimidating—encouraging students to engage with sensitive topics and seek out help when needed. Through social media and outreach materials, I work to foster a campus culture rooted in empathy, consent, and empowerment, where survivors feel seen, supported, and safe.

Coug Jitsu

As a founder and marketing lead for Coug Jitsu, I helped launch WSU Vancouver’s first Jiu Jitsu club, focused on promoting physical wellness, self-defense, and community. We worked out a partnership with The Base, a local gym, to provide 30 free memberships to students—removing financial barriers and encouraging greater access to training. Through inclusive marketing and intentional outreach, we cultivated a space that welcomed all bodies and experience levels. Our efforts led to a supportive and empowering environment where multiple members earned their first stripe, celebrating growth, discipline, and confidence on the mat.

Lets Work Together

I’m always looking for new opportunities to connect with organizations and individuals who share my passion for creating inclusive spaces. If you’re interested in collaborating on a project, event, or initiative, please don’t hesitate to reach out!
